Some early replacements - windows first

We decided to get rid of a couple of the windows that were in really bad shape. The window in the kitchen was actually broken (the top pane only). Jack hated his bathroom window that wasn't really stained glass, but close. And my window in the small bath leaked pretty badly.

small bath window

large bath window - no more stained glass!

kitchen window - not broken anymore!

Demolition has started!

This is the closet in the sunroom, we're removing to add more space - we have plenty of closets, and to help expose the brick wall

This is the doorway to the sunroom with basically the original outside door doorframe, with door still inset. This will be removed and the molding readded once the brick is exposed

The old passthrough between the kitchen and sunroom now that the window is taken out!

Track lighting...no...original kitchen cabinets and wallpaper

Cabinets are gone!! Linoleum is ripped out. wallpaper is being stripped off, new floors coming soon

Here's the old linoleum, underneath the other linoleum

The brick wall is exposed! this is going to look really good. You can also see the new carpet

The drywall is done, the old brick is back.

All the old kitchen flooring - GONE!

Before the electricl work starts, this is what was behind the cabinets.
